Imperium Technology, Inc. will be joining the 16th Software Development Expo (SODEC) to be held on May 16-18, 2007 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight), Tokyo, Japan. SODEC is the only software development exhibition in Japan. It is recognised as one of the most important trade exhibitions among software development engineers and designers in Japan and abroad.

John Drayton Fule and Marco Angelo Mejia, two of Imperium's Research and Development Managers, participated in the 2-week IT Project Management Course by the Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC).
CICC takes pleasure in announcing that the IT Project Management Course is conducted in cooperation with related organizations in Japan. This course is entrusted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). |

Congratulations to Imperium's JLPT4 Passers |

Last December of 2006, three of Imperium's Systems Engineers took the JLPT and as expected, they all passed. Their perseverance in learning the language and attending Nihongo class regularly has all been paid up. Passing the JLPT level 4 is only one of the process that Imperium undertakes to have better customer relationship with its current and future Japanese clients.
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is administered once a year – worldwide, by the Japan Foundation in cooperation with other cultural exchange/educational institutions, in order to evaluate and certify the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. JLPT is a standardized test to evaluate a person's Japaneses language proficiency, primarily in reading and listening. |

Dido Sevilla successfully completed the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship |

Imperium Technology, Inc. is proud to announce Mr. Rafael “Dido” Sevilla successfully completed the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) held in Tokyo, Japan last January 15 – 26, 2007. Mr. Dido Sevilla CTO of Imperium Technology is one of the participants from the Philippines who passed.
Mr. Sevilla went through training like learning Japanese Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, practice of basic Japanese colloquial expressions, understanding the characteristics of the IT business in Japan, etc. The main objective of AOTS is to teach participants from Filipino IT Businesses basic Nihongo (Japanese Language). The target participants of the AOTS are Software engineers as well as marketing and business administration professionals who are employed by IT-related Filipino companies that are engaged or will be engaged in business with Japan. |

Congratulations to Macoy for Passing the DCAP Certification |

Imperium Technology, Inc. would like to congratulate Mr. Marco Angelo E. Mejia for passing the Digium Certified Asterisk Professional Certification (dCAP) held in Dallas, Texas last October 24-27, 2006. Macoy, head of research and development for Imperium is one of the 1st dCAP certified from the Philippines.
He went through hands-on training and was required to build and configure an actual PBX system. Aside from that, he also took a written examination to test his knowledge about Asterisk and other VoIP technologies. Digium Certified Asterisk Professional certification, is a verification of knowledge of Asterisk and related VoIP technologies. |

Being one of the presentors and content provider of the recently held Philippine Open Source + Voice & Telephony Conference 2006, Imperium Technology, Inc. would like to extend its appreciation to all of the attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors for their support and participation in the second Philippine Open Source Conference (PhilOSC).
The Philippine Open Source Conference is merged with the First Voice and Telephony Conference. The theme for this conference was “Ready for Change, In Tune with the Enterprises”. Three tracks (Business Applications, Programming and Systems Development , and Voice and Telephony) running in parallel attracted both the decision makers and techies from different industries. Not only focusing on the IT sector but attendees came from various line of businesses. |

PhilOSC 2006 Early Bird Registration |

This Philippine Open Source Conference 2006 has opened up their registration for this year's conference. The Early Bird Specials will allow attendees to avail of the special 20% discount. This year's conference is happening from the 26th until the 28th of September at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel.
During the three day event, a wide range of talks will be given covering three different tracks of Business Application, Programming and Systems Development, and Voice and Telephony.
