Imperium Receives Appreciation From Smart Communications, Inc. |
On March 14, 2009 Imperium Technology, Inc. was awarded a plaque of appreciation by SMART COMMUNICATIONS, INC. in recognition of the company's effort in developing a dynamic website for the Doon Po Sa Amin Learning Challenge (DPSA).
The DPSA is one of Smart's non-profit community based service initiatives in the field of education. The project was launched in June 2008 aims to encourage Smart's partner schools all over the country to use computer and internet technologies to create, promote and share web-based information and educational materials about their respective communities. In response to this socio-civic endeavor, Imperium Technology, Inc. created a website uploading facility for teachers and students to use and manage thus SMART was able to launch the mysmartschools.ph site.
The goal of SMART's Doon Po Sa Amin Challenge project proof of success is the 130 entries from 40 high schools nationwide. Thus, the creation of an online community network of teachers and students who are highly capable of generating rich local content for the promotion and development of communities has far been made possible. Mr. Ramon Isberto, Head Public Affairs of Smart Communications, Inc. handed the plaque of apreciation to Imperium Technology, Inc. at the Megatradehall 2, 5th Level, Bldg. B SM Megamall. |
